The thrill of driving through some of the world’s highest motorable roads, like Khardung La and Chang La, is an experience in itself. Ladakh is also a gateway to adventures, offering trekking, river rafting in the Zanskar River, and mountain biking. Its harsh, barren landscape turns magical during the summer months, while the harsh winters transform it into a snow-laden wonderland. Beyond its scenic beauty, Ladakh is also home to a rich heritage, with traditions influenced by Tibetan culture. Festivals like the Hemis Festival bring the region to life with colourful rituals, dances, and prayers, making it a unique blend of adventure and spirituality.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Leh Arrival
Welcome at 𝐊𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐊 𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐋𝐀 𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐇 Transfer to your hotel. The most important rule? Rest. To conquer the heights, you must first let your body find its rhythm. Spend the day hydrating and relaxing.
Day 2: Explore Leh
After breakfast visit 1. Leh Palace: Start your exploration with Leh Palace, an architectural marvel that offers panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The palace is a reminiscent of the Tibetan Potala Palace. 2. Shanti Stupa: Visit Shanti Stupa, a white-domed structure perched on a hilltop 3. Magnetic Hill: Experience the unique phenomenon at Magnetic Hill, where the layout of the surroundings creates an optical illusion, making it seem like your vehicle is defying gravity. 4. Leh Market: Wander through the vibrant Leh market, where you can shop for traditional Ladakhi handicrafts, artifacts, and souvenirs. 5. Hall of Fame: Visit the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the Indian military’s contributions to the region, showcasing artefacts and exhibits about the Indo-Pak wars. Dinner will be served at the Hotel. Enjoy your Overnight stay.
Day 3: Leh - Khardung La - Nubra Valley
Start your journey from Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Make sure you are well-acclimatized to the high altitude. South Pullu Checkpoint: En route, you’ll pass through South Pullu, a military checkpoint where you may need to show permits. Khardung La Pass (5,359 m / 17,582 ft): Ride to Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. North Pullu: Continue towards North Pullu, another checkpoint where permits might be checked. Descent to Nubra Valley: Descend from Khardung La into the Nubra Valley, surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Diskit Monastery: Visit Diskit Monastery, one of the oldest and largest monasteries in the Nubra Valley, known for its stunning views of the valley. Hunder (3,048 m / 10,000 ft): Reach Hunder, famous for its sand dunes and the unique experience of riding Bactrian camels overnight stay in Hunder
Day 4: Nubra - Pangong TSO
Hunder (3,048 m / 10,000 ft): Start your journey from Hunder, ensuring your bike is in excellent condition for the challenging terrains. Diskit: Head back towards Diskit and proceed towards Khalsar. Khalsar: Continue towards Khalsar, a small village with apricot orchards. From here, you’ll join the main Leh-Pangong route. Agham Village and Shyok River: Pass through Agham Village and ride along the Shyok River, enjoying the spectacular views of the rugged landscape. Shyok Village: Cross the Shyok Village, an excellent place to take a break and absorb the beauty of the surroundings. Durbuk: Ride towards Durbuk, a small village where you can find basic amenities. Tangtse: Proceed to Tangtse, another village along the way. Make sure your fuel tank is filled up here, as this might be the last fuel station on the route. Be greeted by the mesmerizing sight of Pangong Lake. The lake is known for its changing colours and stunning reflections. Overnight stay near lake
Day 5: Pangong TSO –Hanle
The real beauty of Pangong Lake you will observe on this day. In chushul, we will visit Rezang La war memorial.Hanle has a lovely Monastery offering some great aerial views of the whole village that is home of about 1000 people with altitude of 4500 Mtrs. The Hanle Observatory is operated by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru and is currently the second-highest optical observatory in the world, with an installed telescope of about 2.01 meters (6.5 feet) diameter.Overnight stay at Hanle.
Day 6: Hanle to UmlingLa and back to Hanle
Today you will ride on the highest motorable road in the world. Umling La is a mountain pass in Ladakh, India on the ridgeline between Koyul Lungpa and the Indus River near Demchok. At an elevation of 5,640 metres, it forms the source for the Umlung stream that drains into the Indus and a tributary of the Kiungdul river that drains into Koyul Lungpa.Overnight stay at Hanle
Day 7: Hanle to Leh
After a delicious breakfast, head back to Leh. Pass through the picturesque landscape around that gives this place extremely romantic and breathtaking vibes. Experience the unique adventure bathing experience aside from the Indus River in Chumathang Hot Water Spring. Take a stopover at traditional attractions and reach Leh. Visit Leh market to shop for some goods and enjoy Ladakhi cuisine. Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.
Day 8: Depart from Leh
Today is the last day of this adventurous trip. You can leave back for your home today, but you won’t be going alone. You will be taking lots of fun memories, which you will cherish for a long time.

Exclusions:

- Airport, Railway station or Bus stop pick up or drop
- Cost of any spare part which will be used due to the accidental damage incurred when the motorbike is in rider’s possession.
- Cost incurred to transfer or tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way
- Vehicle servicing or maintenance cost(if own bike)
- Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package inclusions
- Security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 10,000/- . As per the deposit policy (This is refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts used.)
